Why a podcast?

Jesus encouraged community and accountability, but too often, human flaws and conflicting interpretations of the Bible—from abortion to Zionism—tear his followers apart. Hypocrisy and selfishness can creep in as Christians struggle to live up to the ideals of the faith. Christian churches aren't just losing members—they're hemorrhaging trust in real-life communities. Shockingly, a Pew Research Center study reveals that for the first time, less than 50% of Americans belong to a church. Meanwhile, people are flocking to online communities, seeking the acceptance and belonging they can't always find in physical congregations.

🦋 What’s the podcast about and how often? 🦋

Ears on Christ podcast is here to bridge that gap. Each month we will be delving into a controversial topic. Ears is a safe space to dive into tough, divisive issues with clarity and compassion. A listening space that’s also a brave space for honest and respectful dialogue. Finally, it’s also a fun, rejuvenating space. If you’re ready to learn and brave enough to face the truth, you’ll find yourself both challenged and nurtured.

You won’t have to worry about missing anything, once you’re subscribed. Every new edition of the podcast goes directly to your inbox. Ears on Christ frequency will be fortnightly, when short, and monthly when longer than 30 mins, and released only to paid subscribers. Free subscribers may get occasional previews down the road. No promises this summer of our launch!

🤟 Our promise

He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. Isaiah 53:7.

This verse from Isaiah's prophecy describes the suffering servant, often interpreted as a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ. It portrays the image of the Lamb - mascot for Ears on Christ - willingly submitting to suffering and sacrifice without protest, embodying qualities of humility, gentleness, and vulnerability. Jesus loves everybody. As the host of Ears on Christ and a 24/7 follower of Jesus, Anita engages with love and brings a spirit of humility, openness, and willingness to listen. This is her professional record.
